Conan O’Brien stopped by “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Tuesday night and things got very honest, very quickly.
When Cohen asked O’Brien to play a game of “Plead the Fifth” with him, Cohen put the late-night host through it and, to his credit, Conan did not hold back.
When asked which guest he had on his show that he thought was the worst, O’Brien was honest. “I don’t wanna plead the fifth on anything. Al Roker. The guy…it’s too fake. He’s too happy all the time,” he said.
“And I kept trying to crack him. I said, ‘Al, you can talk to me.’ And he wouldn’t do it! And he goes home at night and cries. It’s Roker, I tell ya. It’s Roker.”
He also revealed that the “Today” show host was a diva backstage too. “Absolute monster behind the scenes. Compensating for his own insecurities. And I haven’t spoken to him since! Your turn,” O’Brien said.
Then O’Brien turned the tables on Cohen and asked him who the biggest diva on his show was. “Mine is Mariah Carey, and I think it’s a good thing,” he admitted. “I mean, look, she had me switch seats because she has a better side. She was a diva in the way that I would want her to be a diva.”
The two also played a game of “Shag, Marry, Kill” with O’Brien’s fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and James Corden and his choices are interesting.
