Paul Simon And Stephen Colbert Unite For Touching ‘Feeling Groovy’ Cover

Paul Simon stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday night and the two dueted on “The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy)”.

The joke was that Simon no longer enjoys playing the Simon & Garfunkel classic on tour but Colbert convinced him to update it for the current generation.

The two dueted on the song and changed some of the lyrics to reflect the current state of the world and all that is going on.

In his interview with Colbert, Simon revealed he’s currently re-recording some of his classic songs for a brand new album. He also revealed that he will be donating all of his tour proceeds to a biodiversity foundation.

Colbert also managed to get him to perform — along with jazz guitarist Bill Frisell —  his song “Questions For The Angels” for the first time ever. The song is off his 2011 album, “So Beautiful Or So What”.
