Celine Dion has brought her new song from “Beauty and the Beast” to the Las Vegas stage.
On Wednesday night, the 49-year-old Canadian music icon surprised fans with the first ever live performance of her song, “How Does a Moment Last Forever”, written by Alan Menken and Tim Rice for Disney’s live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast”, during her show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Draped in a yellow gown inspired by Belle, the Grammy Award winner told the crowd in a video shared to her Facebook page, “Twenty-five years ago, I was very fortunate to be a part of that wonderful movie ‘Beauty and the Beast’, and it was one of the biggest moments of my show business career. I’m so thankful!”
Dion recently performed at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, where she delivered a breathtaking performance of “My Heart Will Go On” in celebration of the “Titanic” song’s 20th anniversary. ET Canada caught up with the singer exclusively backstage, where she opened up about Cher’s iconic awards show performance.
