* What’s next for Netflix? Why it’s a 13-episode series order for The Get Down from Baz Luhrmann. The Great Gatsby director will produce the drama and helm several episodes, including the pilot. The premise: in run-down 1970s New York, a group of downtrodden South Bronx teenagers soak in the era’s musical culture: everything from hip-hop to punk to disco. Check out the teaser.  [Deadline]

* Canadian entertainer extraordinaire Michael Bublé knows talent when he sees it and in Seoul he was absolutely mesmerized by a dancer in the crowd. “In 174 shows and 33 countries, I have never fallen in love with a man before. But I can’t stop myself because there’s a dude that dancing over there…”; said the crooner before directing the crowd’s attention to the show-stealer in the audience. Bublé promptly got the man up to the stage, they shared a hug and then some enthusiastic moves were laid down while the Grammy winning singer rapped as accompaniment. Do yourself a favour and give it a watch.

* Ready to get freaked out by Poltergeist all over again? As is the case with every scary movie that’s ever existed ever, the 1982 horror classic has gotten the reboot treatment. The new flick boasting that familiar title stars Sam Rockwell and features Monster House helmer Gil Kenan in the director’s chair. A trailer for Poltergeist (2015) has dropped and it looks appropriately terrifying. (You better believe there’s clown-based nightmare fuel in this version too.) The film hits theatres on July 24.
