Liam Payne is the proud father of nine-week-old Bear, his son with girlfriend Cheryl Cole, and the One Direction heartthrob appears on the UK’s “The Graham Norton Show” to discuss his experiences with fatherhood.
One of these experiences, he reveals, was changing baby Bear’s diaper for the first time, admitting to host Graham Norton that he had never changed a diaper before.

“I was like, ‘I can do this.’ So I spent the whole day doing the nappy-changing business and I was getting along with it just fine,” Liam explained. “Then, at five o’clock in the morning, Bear woke up and I was like, ‘I’ll do this one.'”
Opening his son’s diaper, the singer discover little Bear’s first poop — which the infant celebrated by immediately spraying “wee” like a fountain. “In my mind, there was music and slo-mo,” Payne jokes.
During his appearance, Payne also shares an anecdote about meeting P. Diddy at a party, which resulted in the longest, most awkward handshake he ever experienced — which was nothing compared to what happened when he attempted to say hi to fellow party guest Jay Z.
“I went in to lean in to speak to him,” explains Payne, which resulted in being shoved out of the way by a member of Jay Z’s security team. The lesson: “You’re not allowed to lean in” when it comes to Jay Z. Watch:
