Guns N’ Roses Honours Chris Cornell With ‘Black Hole Sun’ Cover

As the world continues to mourn the loss of Soundgarden/Audioslave’s Chris Cornell, musicians are paying tribute to the singer.

Cornell passed away at the age of 52 earlier this month. Friends and fellow artists like Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, Incubus, Ann Wilson, Imagine Dragons and more have paid tribute to Cornell with covers of some of his biggest songs.

The latest act to pay tribute to him are Guns N’ Roses. While performing at Ireland’s Slane Castle on the weekend, the band covered Soundgarden‘s “Black Hole Sun”.

Before the show, the band’s official Twitter account honoured Cornell.

Cornell was laid to rest on Friday at a private memorial service at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
