Chris Pratt And John Krasinski Team Up For The ‘Murph Challenge’ On Memorial Day

By Aynslee Darmon.

In honour of Memorial Day in the U.S. and Michael Patrick “Murph” Murphy, a Navy Seal who died in combat in 2005, Chris Pratt and John Krasinski teamed up to do a “Murph Challenge.”

If you’re doing the “Murph Challenge,” it involves doing a 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats and another 1 mile run. The Murph raises money and awareness for the LT. Michael P. Murphy Scholarship Foundation and has the support of Pratt and Krasinski.

The pair, who happen to be together in the UK decided they can raise awareness for Murphy’s cause and celebrate this special day from across the pond.

“Pick up a shirt and learn about Mike Murphy. He’s just one of the many brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country that we think about and honour today,” Pratt said.

“So today, whether you do a Murph Challenge or just take some time to say thank you and remember, remember that’s what today is all about,” Krasinski added.
