The rocker’s Audioslave bandmates remembered their late friend with a vocal-less take on their 2002 single during a rehearsal. The video was captured by Public Enemy’s DJ Lord.

Audioslave was a big deal when the band was formed by former Soundgarden lead singer Cornell and members of Rage Against The Machine. They were initially described as a blend of the two bands by critics, but had carved out their own identity by their second album.

Cornell, 52, was found dead in his hotel room on May 18 following a Soundgarden concert. The official cause of death has been determined a suicide.
