Jennifer Garner wants to set the record straight on People magazine’s newest cover story.
The feature story focuses on Garner and ex-husband Ben Affleck’s divorce and reads, “Since ending her marriage to ‘love of her life’ Ben Affleck, she’s moving on and finding happiness.”
The actress took to Facebook Wednesday to shut down the article and to confirm she did not take part in the feature at all.
The 45-year-old “13 Going On 30” actress wrote a short letter to her fans explaining, “I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article,” she wrote. “While we are here, for what it is worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete.”
Meanwhile, a People spokesperson provided the following statement to ET Canada: “People covers Hollywood stars beloved by our audience, and our story on Jennifer Garner is fair and truthful. To be clear, it does not include rumours and does not say she’s pregnant. We wish her well.”
Garner and Affleck share three children, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.
