Just when you were preparing to feel bad for the number of nominees that won’t be going home with a little golden statue on Oscars Sunday, it gets revealed that each nominee is set to receive a gift bag worth more than $125,000 this year.
That’s right, every nominee of the 2015 Academy Awards will go home with more than just an array of high-end skincare products and high-end accessories.The A-list celebs will be receiving a number of amazing trips, certificates and jewels.
This year’s gift bags include, a three-night stay at a resort in Tuscany valued at $1,500; natural French Mediterranean sea salts worth $1,500; a luxury train ride through the Canadian Rockies worth more than $14,500; a “glamping” trip valued at $12,500; a custom silver necklace inscribed with the latitude and longitude coordinates of the Dolby Theater from Lat & Lo at $150; a $800 gift certificate for a custom candy and dessert buffet; a $250 vapourizer; a year’s supply of carrentals valued at $20,000; a wellness 360 gift pack worth $1,200 and a lifestyle makeover package worth more than $14,200.
And the people who created the gift bags said there will also be a $20,000 gift certificate to have Enigma Life founder Olessia Kantor fly out to meet with each nominee and analyze their dreams, explain their 2015 horoscopes and teach them mind control techniques.
