The singer and producer with a heart of gold gave a very special gift to eight-year-old Reef Carneson.

Reef has acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has been in the hospital since he was one year old, but that hasn’t stopped him from being a huge Pharrell fan.

Thanks to Milk Tyson, who made a video with Reef asking Pharrell to FaceTime with the big fan, Reef’s dream finally came true over the weekend but Pharrell went above and beyond just a video call.

Since his immune system is too weak to travel by plane, Pharrell got a private car to drive the young fan to his Philadelphia concert on Saturday night from Cincinnati.

Pharrell didn’t stop there. He put Reef and his family in the finest hotel, got them tickets to the concert and even invited them backstage. When Pharrell performed his hit song “Happy” he got Reef and his sister to join him on stage.

All of this took place the day before Pharrell went to England to perform at the One Love Manchester concert.
