Jimmy Kimmel just got “Whaboomed!”
The host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” chatted with this season’s most eccentric “Bachelorette” contestant, Lucas “the ‘Whaboom’ guy” Yancey. The latest suitor to be booted off the reality show, Yancey revealed how he landed a spot on the show in the first place.
“Towards the end of the interview, they kind of asked me, ‘Do you have any special skills?’ And, of course, I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ve got a few things in my belt,’” Yancey said of his “Bachelorette” audition.
“I said I could do some juggling and I had an Ace Ventura impression that they really, really loved.”
Kimmel couldn’t quite believe it (or at least care to), but he nonetheless asked Yancey to show off his special talent. “So, Jimmy, I’m gonna need you to say ‘Ventura’ and then I’ll get after it,” Mr. Whaboom asked. “Eh, you know what? Forget it. It’s okay,” Kimmel quipped.
After sharing his respectable Carrey impression, Yancey finally revealed the origin of “Whaboom”… sort of. “I’ve been ‘Whabooming’ since the womb, Jim,” said His Royal Whaboomness.
