Gal Gadot is on the top of the world right now as “Wonder Woman” continues to burn up the box office, where it’s currently the #1 movieon the planet after taking in an astounding $250,000-plus worldwide after just one weekend of release.
To celebrate the film’s success, Gadot took to Instagram to share a short video in which she thanks the fans who propelled the female-driven superhero flick to the top position at the international box office.
“Hey you guys, it’s me, it’s Gal,” she begins.
“I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making this weekend the most amazing weekend — and craziest weekend I’ve ever had in my life. I mean, you made this movie what it is, and your love and support for this character and myself are not to be taken for granted,” she continues.
“I mean, ‘Wonder Woman’, #1 movie in the whole world,” she marvels. “This is all you… I’m sending you all the good energy and love back.”
Meanwhile, Gadot had a surprise in store for moviegoers when she, co-star Chris Pine and “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins turned up at a pre-release screening last month, having some fun by shocking fans who had no idea they were going to be there. Watch:
