The late Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-partner Nick Gordon’s domestic battery arrest may add new evidence regarding the reality TV star’s death.
“We have consistently refrained from commenting on our investigation into the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown because of our general policy regarding commenting on open criminal investigations,” Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. said in a statement provided to ET Canada.
The D.A. did follow up by confirming the arrest could shed light on the investigation surrounding Brown’s death. “However, it goes without saying that the arrest of Nick Gordon in the Florida domestic violence case will certainly add an additional layer of evidence to the final resolution of this matter,” the statement concluded.
On January 31, 2015, Gordon and a friend found Brown face down in a bathtub. She was placed in a medically induced coma and later died in hospice care on July 26, 2015 at the age of 22.
The investigation surrounding the daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston is still ongoing.
