Duelling dads Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell are at it again, but this time around Mel Gibson and John Lithgow are joining in the fun.
After putting their differences aside in “Daddy’s Home”, Dusty (Wahlberg) and Brad (Ferrell) have learned to co-parent their brood, putting an end to the dad vs. stepdad rivalry. As Christmas rolls around for the extended clan, their own dads are thrown into the mix, and well, they just don’t seem to have much in common.
The family gets thrown into chaos as they welcome Gibson as Dusty’s gruff, macho, leather jacket-wearing dad and Lithgow as Brad’s overly affectionate, emotional, sweater-wearing father home for the holidays.
The original 2015 “Daddy’s Home” was a box office hit, earning more than $150 million at the box office. The sequel is set to open in theatres on Nov. 10.
ET Canada’s Sangita Patel was on the set of “Daddy’s Home 2” to get the scoop on all the laughs in the new movie from stars Wahlberg, Ferrell, Gibson and Lithgow.
