Kate Hudson is stunningly sophisticated on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar“s October issue in a Ralph Lauren Collection gown, accessorized by Harry Winston earrings. The actress opens up about her beau Matt Bellamy, being confident in her 30s and her guest spot on season four of Glee.
Kate says she was drawn to the Muse frontman right away when she was backstage at a Thom Yorke concert at Coachella over two years ago: “He was immediately very protective and, you know, watchful.”;
“I Googled him right away! And it was shocking, ’cause he was like two completely different people,”; she admits. Seeing him for the first time in concert was a bit startling for Kate: “I didn’t realize what I was walking into; I was just in awe of his ability and his talent. And then to know him on the other side of it, and how sweet and simple and loving he is.”;
Since shooting Almost Famous at only 20-years-old, the actress’ career is far from slowing down. Going on to film a slew of movies, marrying her first husband – rocker Chris Robinson – at 21, and having her first son Ryder three years later: “I was working a lot, and there were times that were extremely tumultuous. So 30 kind of felt like “Oh, okay,’ I had a different kind of confidence.”;
Speaking of revving it up, this fall Kate will guest star on Glee, playing a teacher at NYADA. “I’m friends with [Glee creator] Ryan Murphy,”; the dance fan reveals. “He said “I’d love for you to come do Glee,’ and I was like “How fun!’ Now that Bing’s over a year old, I’m going to start working again. So Glee is kind of perfect.”;
