Bryan Cranston, Selena Gomez, The Muppets And More Share Their Favourite Things ‘Aboot’ Canada

As Canada’s 150th birthday fast approaches, a number of Hollywood celebrities are sending birthday greetings through their roles as WE Day ambassadors.

Among the celebrities honouring our home and native land are Bryan Cranston, Josh Gad, Tyrese Gibson, Selena Gomez, Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Edward Norton, Kate Winslet and Muppets Miss Piggy and Gonzo, Miss Piggy, who share their thoughts on Canada in this new video, above.

Cranston, for one, can’t believe Canada is 150 years old — “I would have said 89 or 90,” quips the former “Breaking Bad” star — while Miss Piggy is apparently enamoured of uniformed Mounties (Gonzo is more impressed by “a nice big platter of poutine”).

Naturally, everybody had something to say about the way Canadians pronounce the word “about” — like we’re never heard that before!

The video is all part of the promotional efforts for WE Day Canada, which will take over Parliament Hill in Ottawa on July 2 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., closing out the Canada Day weekend festivities with appearances by such stars as Marc Dupre, Nelly Furtado, Hedley, Lilly Singh, P.K. Subban, Barenaked Ladies and more.
