Affleck sat down with Kimmel Tuesday night and told the late night talk show host about his first ever car accident, “A couple days ago I was in a car accident – the first car accident I’ve ever been in my life. Officer Bivens showed up there. He responded. He was amazing. He took care of the situation.”

In fact, Affleck brought along Bivens to the studio audience, “I thought it would be nice to have him along,” the Oscar winner explained. “He makes me feel comfortable now in scary situations… when he’s there, I know everything’s okay.”

Funnily enough, Bivens admitted not recognizing Affleck at first, “At first I know it was somebody who was famous, but I couldn’t put my finger on it,” the officer explained. “I had to good him later and I thought ‘Holy mackerel – this guy’s really famous.”

The 41-year-old actor then joked, “We’re not going anywhere else together now.”
