Even though William Shatner was unable to attend Leonard Nimoy’s funeral in Los Angeles on Sunday, he did honour his late friend during the Red Cross Ball charity event in Florida on Saturday night.

After his flight didn’t make it in time on Sunday morning, Shatner honoured his life-long friend on Twitter, answering fan questions about his longtime Star Trek co-star using the hashtag #LeonardNimoy.
