It appears Chris Brown and Migos had a heated encounter after the BET Awards on Sunday, one that, according to TMZ, resulted in the cops having to be called.
According to witnesses at the event, Brown had just premiered his new music video when Migos and his crew made their entrance. A war of words with Brown’s entourage ensued; that’s when things took a turn.
Migos member Quavo was shoved and one of Migos’s crew got involved and was punched. Brown, whose run-ins with the law are no secret, was not directly involved in the fight.
After the altercation, Migos and their entourage allegedly followed Brown to his car and that is when the cops were called.
Some fans witnessed the incident and recorded a video of Migos and the aftermath of the skirmish:
There was also an awkward moment during the red carpet when Migos was being interviewed by Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks. DJ Akademiks asked Migos member Takeoff how he feels about the running joke he was left off their song “Bad and Boujee”.
“I ain’t left off ‘Bad and Boujee’. You think I left off ‘Bad and Boujee’?” Takeoff responded, prior to the Los Angeles awards show. The co-host couldn’t make out his response so he asked him several times to repeat himself. Budden quickly wrapped up the interview and then threw his microphone on the ground and stormed off.
Things then got heated when everyone got up after the interview, with it looking like a fight was about to ensue before the camera cut.
