An upcoming biography about the Duchess of Cornwall alleges that Camilla Parker Bowles found herself on the receiving end of some nasty late-night phone calls from her romantic rival, Princess Diana
The Daily Mail has obtained an excerpt of the forthcoming book, The Duchess: The Untold Story, revealing that Diana reacted with fury when she learned that Prince Charles and Camilla had been having an affair behind her back.
According to author Penny Junor, Diana placed several “threatening and unnerving” phone calls to Camilla in the middle of the night.
According to the source, Diana even went so far as to threaten Camilla’s life. “I’ve sent someone to kill you,” said Diana, according to the book. “They’re outside in the garden. Look out the window; can you see them?”
The book also details what took place when the Princess confronted Camilla during a garden party held by Lady Annabel Goldsmith.
