Shawn Mendes Covers Clash Magazine, Talks Creating ‘Anthems For People’

Sporting head-to-toe Ralph Lauren, Shawn Mendes sizzles in summer on the cover of Clash magazine where he opens up about making music that will mean something to someone.

With his new track “There’s Nothin’ Holding Me Back”, the Canadian cutie explains why he wants to continue creating meaningful music.

“I want to create anthems for people. I want to create anthems for big moments in their lives,” the 18-year-old singer reveals.

In the interview with the mag, Mendes explains his special connection to his fans and the responsibly he feels.

“I don’t want my music to play for a few months and then go away forever. And not only that,” he continued. “I want to do incredible things that make a difference too. I think it’s not only about the music you release, it’s about the things you do while you’re making the music.”
