This summer, Rob Lowe and his sons will take viewers on a hunt with “The Lowe Files”.
Lowe, alongside his sons Matthew and John Owen, will travel through the United States on their A&E reality series in an attempt to answer some of the most famous unsolved mysteries.
The actor and his sons have always been curious about some of the most mysterious urban legends and now they’re on a mission to uncover the truth.
The team will be going above and beyond on their journey. They will meet with experts, use high-tech equipment and take in-depth courses along the way. They will explore everything, even an alien base located 2,000 feet underwater in Malibu, California.
For Lowe, the series is a bonding experience with him and his sons and to help create memories … while they investigate some famous unsolved mysteries.
In the premiere, the Lowe team visit Preston Castle, the haunted condemned boys’ reformatory in Ione, California. The castle was closed in 1960 and has since become a landmark that is rumoured to be filled with some angry ghosts.
Their wild journey begins when “The Lowe Files” premieres on August 2.
