The host then shared countless headlines from articles talking about Carell’s new look and how he’s taken over George Clooney as the internet’s new favourite leading man. “My wife finally said she’s in love with me. It’s exciting,” he joked.
When asked by Fallon how it feels to join the silver-fox club alongside the likes of Andy Cohen and Cooper, Carell said he’s honoured. “There’s a bracelet you get, and mine says ‘Steve’ and on the other side of the bracelet it says ‘hunk of man meat,’” he revealed.
Carell spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the internet fawning over his looks, complaining. “I am so sick of people just looking at me for my physical attributes. It’s just genetic, there’s nothing I can do.”
The internet isn’t done drooling over Carell just yet. His looks continue to receive attention on Twitter:
