Kit Harington Says He’s ‘Never Been Quite Content’ Playing Jon Snow On ‘Game Of Thrones’

Despite playing one of the most beloved characters on HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, Kit Harington admits he has struggled in the past portraying the famed Jon Snow.

In a new interview featured in Time magazine, which shines a spotlight on the many characters of the fan-favourite show set to debut its seventh and final season on July 16, Harington explains his personal plight acting as the late Ned Stark’s bastard son.

“I made mistakes and felt that he wasn’t interested enough,” the 30-year-old British actor says of playing his hit role. “That sounds weird, but I’ve never been quite content with him. Maybe that’s what makes him him. That angst.”

Providing a glimpse into his role in this upcoming season, the actor reveals, “This year, there is this huge seismic shift where all of what he’s learned over the year, suddenly… He’s still the same Jon, but he grows up.”
