In an emotional post on social media Saturday, Adele announced that “on medical advice, I simply am unable to perform over the weekend. To say I’m heartbroken would be a complete understatement.”

The singer had already performed two shows at Wembley, calling them “the biggest and best shows of my life.” But they were not easy shows. “I’ve struggled vocally both nights.” She added that she will share more information in the coming days about whether the shows can be rescheduled.

Adele’s fans weren’t going to let the cancellations get them down, instead launching #SingForAdele.
