YouTube star Steve Ryan was found dead Saturday, July 1 – she was 33.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office have ruled the actress’ death suicide by hanging.
Ryan came to prominence in 2006 through her YouTube series “Little Loca”. Those videos, and a string of celebrity parodies online led to getting her own sketch comedy series “Stevie TV” on VH1. The series aired for two seasons in 2012 and 2013.
More recently, Ryan co-hosted the E! series “Sex With Brody” with Brody Jenner. She also hosted the podcast “Mentally Ch(ill)” in which she spoke openly about depression. In an episode released two days before her death, Ryan revealed that her grandfather had died, saying “I’m just worried that this is going to send me into a deeper depression.”
While also known to feud with “Teen Mom” cast members on Twitter, former “Teen Mom” star Janelle Evans took the time to pay tribute to Ryan on Monday.
