Looks like not everyone is a fan of JAY-Z’s “4:44” album.
50 Cent posted a video on Instagram on Wednesday and he shared his review of JAY-Z’s 13th studio album. While the album has garnered positive reviews from critics and fans, 50 Cent isn’t really feeling the new music.
His rap peer compared JAY-Z’s new album to “golf course music” in the video. Although, the review wasn’t all bad. “I thought the s**t was aight, you know what I’m sayin’? I liked the s**t'” he admitted. Maybe he is a fan after all?
(Caution: The video contains some adult language)
“But I’ma keep it 100: The s**t was a little, the s**t was too smart. I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and s**t, and tie a f***ing sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League s**t’” he continued. Or, maybe not.
50 Cent went on to trash JAY-Z a little more and suggested that, because JAY-Z is 47, he can’t possibly be the best rapper at that age.
JAY-Z hasn’t responded to 50 Cent’s shade as he might be too busy relishing in the fact that “4:44” went platinum after a week of release.
