Chris Evans Tweet Accidentally Made Fans Think His Dog Died

Chris Evans learned a very important social media lesson Saturday: if you’re not clear about what you’re tweeting, people will assume the worst.

Case in point, Evans tweeted that he missed his dog, and his followers immediately assumed his dog had died.

After receiving a number of tweets offering condolences, Evans realized that he’d made a mistake, and ten minutes later clarified that his lovable pup is alive and well.

Fans and dog lovers everywhere were relieved, but emotionally shaken.

Even Seth Rogen was affected.

As one Twitter user commented, it was quite a “rollercoaster,” but thankfully the dog is safe, and Evans be reunited with him once he’s finished shooting the upcoming film “Red Sea Diving Resort” in a few months.
