Apparently Jon Snow wasn’t Kit Harington’s first choice of role on “Game of Thrones”.

Jimmy Kimmel “leaked” the actor’s “audition tape” when he stopped by the show Monday night, and it’s pretty hilarious.

“The producers of ‘Game of Thrones,’ Dan Weiss and David Benioff, gave us his audition tape,” Kimmel told his audience. Watch above.

Now, goofing on his audition wasn’t the only thing Kit had to endure during his time on the show. The actor got grilled by Jimmy Kimmel about spoilers for the highly anticipated seventh season.

“How long before you go back to work, shooting the show?” Kimmel asked, with Harington responding, “Ahhh, well, you see, that was, that was sly as well.”

“I dunno, I dunno if I’m back in the show, I can’t tell you,” Kit teased before dropping a warning about those “on set” photos we saw on the internet.

“We did fake some scenes,” Kit revealed. “We did put some people together in scenes where we knew the paparazzi was around, so they’d take photos and that would get on the internet to fake scenes,” he said, adding that he couldn’t even reveal the “fake scenes.” “Then you’re gonna know [what the real scenes are].”

And if that wasn’t a head trip enough for you, Kit added, “All I can tell you is that what you might have seen on the internet, for anyone who follows it, might not be true. It might be true, but it might not be.”

“Game of Thrones” premieres July 16 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
