The Spanish-language track, which features Cuban reggaeton group Gente de Zona, is off J.Lo’s upcoming Spanish album, “Por Primera Vez,” set for release in September. It will mark the singer’s first all-Spanish album in a decade.
The energetic video, directed by Emil Nava, opens with Lopez in a creative pitch meeting with Mexican actor Khotan Fernández and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who also executive produced the new album, according to Billboard.
“I have something a little bit different in mind,” says Fernández, who plays a photographer in the video. “Full colour. Tropical.” The “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker agrees with the suggestion, telling her ex-hubby, “He’s on the right track.”
The seemingly ageless Lopez then grooves in front of palm trees, oceans, and Cadillacs, sporting a selection of stunning outfits which seem to cycle through the entire colour wheel. Included in all those outfit changes is the now infamous double-slit dress which the singer wore for her Macy’s Fourth of July performance.
The actress also tweeted a photo of herself in the controversial dress on Monday to hype today’s video release.
Lopez’s first Spanish-language album, “Como Ama una Mujer,” was released in 2007 and also featured production from her then-husband, Marc Anthony. The former couple performed together at the Latin Grammy Awards last November to promote the upcoming record.
