Clint Eastwood Casts The Soldiers Who Stopped The Paris Train Attack To Play Themselves In ‘The 15:17 To Paris’ Movie

Clint Eastwood is turning the real heroes of the Paris train attack into movie stars.

Eastwood is directing “The 15:17 to Paris” and he’s chosen to cast the real-life soldiers to play themselves in the movie.

The film is about Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone, the heroes who stopped an attempted terrorist attack in 2015.

The train, traveling from Brussels to Paris, was under attack when a man with an AK-47 came onto the train and the three men were able to stop him.

The movie revolves around the friendship between the three. It will follow their journey from their childhoods to that fateful night when they stopped the terrorist.

The three soldiers join Jenna Fischer, Judy Greer and Ray Corasani who round out the cast and production on the movie started this week.

After “Sully” and “American Sniper”, this is the latest movie Eastwood has directed that has been inspired by an inspirational real-life true story.
