If you had just become the parents of twins, no one would blame you for looking like you’d spent three months backpacking across Eastern Europe. But that’s not the case for George and Amal Clooney who looked fresh-faced and vibrant as they dined with friends in Italy.
The couple welcomed their twins, Ella and Alexander, in June, and seemed happy and well-rested as they were spotted leaving the il Gatto Nero restaurant near Lake Como, Italy.
George, in prime silver fox mode, was rocking a fresh tan and goatee, while Amal stunned in a beautiful, flowery white dress. The pair were practically beaming as they made their goodbyes upon leaving their favourite eaterie.
“Everyone was so excited to see him and Amal for dinner,” an onlooker told People. “They got many hugs and a lot of love. Amal looked gorgeous and didn’t look the slightest bit tired. She kept smiling and looked so happy.”
“You could tell they were happy about the date night,” the onlooker continued. “In the past, they always dined for hours. This time, it was obvious they didn’t want to be out too late.”
It’s the second time the couple has been seen in public since the birth of their newborns. The 56-year-old actor and the 39-year-old human rights lawyer arrived in Milan, Italy last Monday, and were seen exiting a private plane with their family, George carrying a baby carrier.
The twins were born in London at St. Mary’s Hospital on June 6 and are the first children of both George and Amal, who married in 2014 in Venice.
