Fifth Harmony has found their harmony on the cover of Billboard.
The group opens up in a cover story for Billboard about becoming a foursome after Camila Cabello left the group last year, moving forward and their upcoming album.
After Cabello departed the group in December, there was a war of words between the former bandmates. Cabello denied how she had left the group and the remaining members of Fifth Harmony, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui, said otherwise.
“Try experiencing it,” Jauregui said about the whole thing. “I get to sleep at night knowing we did everything in our power as friends, bandmates and human beings” Kordei echoed her statement. “You can’t change people,” Brooke added.
Jane added one more statement to the girls becoming a foursome after Cabello departed to pursue her solo career, “Let’s just say we’re in a better place now, there are no secrets in this circle,” she said. “Honestly, in this very moment, we could not be happier,” Brooke added.
With their new album coming later this year, the girls are in a good place professionally and personally. Their new single, “Down”, is really about the girls always being there for one another. “We dedicate it to each other,” said Jane. “We’ve been together five years, so that message is powerful to us. We’ve been there for each other through ups and downs.”
While there are now only four members of Fifth Harmony, there is a fifth member. “The fans are our fifth member,” Brooke said.
