It appears Harry Styles caught the acting bug … and now has rid himself of it.
The “Dunkirk” star revealed at the film’s premiere at London’s Leicester Square on Thursday that his first movie role may be his last. Harry Styles has admitted he is contemplating retiring from acting after just one film.
The singer told reporters at the film’s premiere that he’s not sure what to think of his acting career. “I feel very lucky to be a part of ‘Dunkirk’… I’d do this one again but it may be one and done,” he admitted.
According to the “Sign of the Times” singer, he enjoyed his time working with director Christopher Nolan so much on the set of the movie that nothing else could really compare.
Styles stars alongside Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy and Mark Rylance in the film and he’s not quite sure another cast or movie compete with the making of this one. “I really enjoyed this. I’ve peaked too soon! There’s nowhere to go,” he said.
“Dunkirk” tells the true story of the trapped troops who were rescued from the Dunkirk beaches in 1940.
