Willie Nelson, now 84, is promising fans more music and has revealed he has no plans to retire anytime soon.
While being chatting with CBS Sunday Morning, the country icon was asked about when he’ll finally call it quits, which prompted Nelson to respond in a hilarious way.
“What, do you want me to quit?” he joked. “I just play music and a little golf and I don’t want to give up either one of those!”
Nelson also revealed he won’t be giving up marijuana either, “For myself, it’s good for me,” he said.
“It keeps me from going off and doing crazy things. I can relax and play some music and sit around and visit and act like a grown-up, I think.”
With songs like “Still Not Dead Yet,” Nelson takes a funny approach to his new music, and his age.
“God’s Problem Child” marks the legend’s 61st studio album which dropped in April.
