UPDATE (Tuesday, Mar. 17, 1:20 p.m. ET): Although they’ve confirmed their engagement, Stalker co-stars Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q still haven’t set a date.
The reason: their busy careers, which includes filming the remainder of the season of Stalker as well as upcoming movies for both.
“We’re fishing!”; Maggie told PEOPLE, sporting an enormous diamond on her ring finger. “We’re fishing for dates.”;
They delay in setting a date, she adds is “because of work and … because you gotta balance everything.”;

It’s been confirmed that Dylan McDermott and his “Stalker”; co-star, Maggie Q, are engaged – Dylan put a ring on it.
Maggie told E! News, that it was less of a question, and more of a statement; “I don’t know if he wants me to go into the details on how he proposed, but I’ll tell you this much—he more told me that we were gonna be married, which I think is so funny.”
She went on to explain the reasoning behind his thoughtful proposal: “Because he says, ‘You can’t ask Maggie because you can’t take the risk of Maggie saying no.'”

News of their relationship spread in the fall when the couple was spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at Olio e Limone in Santa Barbara, Calfornia.
According to the New York Post, the CBS stars attended Golden Globes after-parties together where the former Nikita actress was seen wearing an engagement ring.
McDermott broke off his marriage of 13 years to Shiva Rose in 2009. The former couple co-parent two girls — Colette, 18, and Charlotte, 9 — together. Maggie Q, meanwhile, has never been married.
Reps for the stars have yet to comment on the engagement report.
