Shawn Ashmore and wife Dana are the proud parents of their first child, an adorable baby boy.

The B.C.-born “X-Men” star, 37, and his wife, 33, took to Instagram to share the joyous news, along with some photos of the adorable newborn (neither the baby’s name nor his date of birth has been revealed).

“Couldn’t be more in love with my new baby boy and my incredible wife,” Ashmore wrote, accompanying a photo of his son gripping his finger.

Added Dana in another Instagram post, “We did it guys!!” She followed that up with another, writing: “So in love.”
