After a decade out of the spotlight, The Philosopher Kings are back in a big way.

Ahead of the release of their new album, “Return Of The Kings”, band members Jarvis Church and James Bryan McCollum sat down with ET Canada‘s Rick Campanelli to talk about how there’s still “nerves” when it comes to “putting it out there.”

“All these years, people are still into it, still hearing our stuff on the radio,” Church says as the band gets ready to release their fifth studio album and the record’s first single, “Still The One”. The song is classic Philosopher Kings, blending their unique combination of alternative rock and pop.

Though the years have passed, the band is still excited to get in front of the crowds as they prepare to tour their upcoming release.

“I’m excited to be playing for our fans again,” McCollum says. Church adds the band is equally excited to play together again. “When we get on stage together, we’re having more fun than perhaps even the audience and they can see that on our faces.”
