Arcade Fire Nabs First No. 1 Song With ‘Everything Now’

Arcade Fire just landed their first Billboard No. 1 song.

“Everything Now” hit the top spot on the Adult Alternative Songs Billboard chart this week after being No. 3 last week.

The song is the lead single off the band’s upcoming fifth studio album of the same name. This year marks 10 years since their the release of “Keep the Car Running”, their first song to chart, which peaked at No. 19.

According to Billboard, this earned Arcade Fire a spot on the list of longest spans between first-week debuts and first No. 1’s on the chart. The band comes in at fifth place behind Modest Mouse, Wilco, Pearl Jam and Beck.

The band’s new album, “Everything Now”, is out on July 28.
