Fans at Comic-Con were given a special sneak peek at an action-packed first trailer for “Justice League”, the upcoming DC-derived flick that teams up Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and other superheroes.
With the cast on hand for the film’s Comic-Con panel, the trailer (above) opens with Gotham City’s Commissioner Gordon (J.K. Simmons) lighting the Bat Signal.
Other highlights from the action-packed trailer include a scene in which Wonder Woman saves a group of schoolchildren from a gang of assassins, and another featuring Aquaman dropping through a building atop the body of a bad guy before strolling out the door.
At the trailer’s end, faithful Wayne family butler Alfred (Jeremy Irons) receives a visit from a mysterious friend — could it be Superman (Henry Cavill), somehow resurrected from his death at the end of”Batman v. Superman”?
We’ll find out when “Justice League” hits theatres on Nov. 17.
