Remedy is suiting up for its second season, premiering on Global on Monday, March 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and if the hints from our chat with the cast on tonight’s ET Canada special on Global at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT are any indicator, viewers are in for one hell of a bang.
“They really push the limits of what’s allowed on network television,” says Dillon Casey. “There are some moments where we’re like, are we sure we’re allowed to be doing this?”
Enrico Colantoni reveals that this “smart, real family drama” will start the new season off with a literal and metaphorical bang: “There’s an actual explosion, but it’s also a metaphor…but there’s a real explosion.”Adds the actor, “Second season is just like, boom! And everyone just explodes into who they are and this crazy, dysfunctional co-dependant world.”
According to Genelle Williams, the secret to the show’s addictive performance is its relatable presentation, saying “there’s a realness to it, which is what I love about it…it’s real life.”
Colantoni chimes in, “You gotta give the viewers a lot of credit because it is a smart show, it happens so fast.”
