We now know when the next James Bond movie is coming, but we still don’t know who will play 007.
The 25th installment of the beloved spy franchise will hit theatres on Nov. 8, 2019, according to a statement from the film’s producers.
While there’s no official word yet on whether Daniel Craig will return to the role, sources close to the production say the actor is scheduled to return for a fifth outing as Bond.
The movie isn’t just missing its star, the film also needs a director. Producers have said both of these announcements, as well as the film’s official title, will be announced at a later date.
Sam Mendes, who directed both “Skyfall” and “Spectre”, said in a 2016 interview that he’s finished with the franchise.
