It looks like Disney Channel’s latest hit movie, “Descendants 2”, almost featured a gay kiss.
Teen Vogue revealed that characters Harry Hook and Gil, played by Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair, were supposed to kiss in the movie, but the scene never made it in.
The gay kiss is featured in the book series the movies are based on. Harry Hook is the son of Captain Hook from “Peter Pan” and Gil is the son of Gaston from “Beauty and the Beast”.

Playfair took to Instagram to share a picture of the kiss that didn’t make it into the movie. “An accurate representation of my year to date,” he captioned the photo. Doherty echoed his statements and shared the photo as well and wrote, “A truly, inspiringly, beautiful human being.”
The sequel was a huge hit that nabbed 13 million viewers across six networks. Unfortunately, now that fans found out the scene was cut, they’re not happy about it:
Maybe “Descendants 3” will finally include the kiss.
