Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o graced San Diego with her presence at this year’s Comic-Con.
The actress was on hand to promote her entry into the Marvel Comic Universe, joining the “Black Panther” cast on stage in Hall H.
Only those who were inside got a glimpse at new footage from the film, which was reportedly met with a standing ovation. Marvel has yet to post the new footage, instead sharing the cast’s reaction after seeing the footage which only make us want to see it more.
In another recently released video, the Oscar-winner gave fans an inside look at how she spent the rest of her Con AND IT’S AWESOME.
Dressing up and hitting the Con floor is a time honoured tradition for celebs to disguise themselves in cosplay at the event, mostly so they can experience it without drawing any attention to themselves. In the past, actors like Bryan Cranston, Daniel Radcliffe, Matt Smith and more have dressed up. This year it was Nyong’o’s turn and it looks like she had a blast as the Pink Ranger.
She checked out her Maz Kanata action figure from “Star Wars”.
Cheered on Marvel.
…and basically won over our hearts all over again.
Nyong’o plays Nakia, a member of T’Challa’s personal guard, in “Black Panther”. The film hits theatres Feb. 16, 2018.
