To that one Wrestling fan in New York City… you just made the list!
Jericho, 46, and a pedestrian traded 1,004 F-bombs outside a tribute show for late musician David Z near Irving Plaza in New York City. Reported witnesses told TMZ that several people approached the WWE superstar to ask for photos and autographs.
Y2J was reportedly willing to oblige but began turning people down after getting frustrated. That is when a camera captured the verbal sparring match between Jericho and the fan. Amid all the shouting, the fan explained how he only wished to congratulate Jericho on a recent WWE match, before threatening to knock him out cold.
The Canadian-American wrestler egged on the fan, asking him to “come a little closer,” after the two traded Wrestlemania-worthy insults like “f**k your ass” and “no, f**k your ass!”
“The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla” recently made a surprise return to WWE after a short departure to tour with his band Fozzy and promote their new album, ‘Judas’.
