It’s a bittersweet goodbye for Aisha Tyler.

As the TV personality wraps up her final week on the panel of Global TV‘s “The Talk,” she tells ET Canada’s Matte Babel that she’s experienced a roller coaster of emotions in her final days.

She explains, “Sara [Gilbert] and I keep joking every morning that we’re like, ‘No, I don’t feel anything. I don’t feel anything.’ But every time I look at somebody, I start crying!”

Part of the talk show’s winning formula has been the chemistry between its co-hosts – Tyler, Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and moderator Julie Chen – and Tyler says that bond extends beyond the airwaves.

“We’ve all gone through so much – babies, weddings, separations, divorces, life changes – and through all of that, these women were around me and were there for me,” she says. “The hour on TV is wonderful, but it’s the least important part of the time that I’ve been at the show. It’s the time off camera that is really meaningful to me.”

In fact, as she contemplated her exit, it was her co-stars whom she turned to for guidance.

“I just remember Sharon going, ‘Spread your wings and fly. We all believe in you,'” Tyler recalls. “I’m sure they’re all kicking themselves now, but at the time, they were being very supportive!”
