‘Mr. Robot’ Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed In Cryptic New Teaser

“Mr. Robot” is coming back for its third season Oct. 11.

The news was announced in the cryptic new teaser, released through a series of complicated internet clues, as is typical for the show about hackers.

At 1 p.m. on Friday, the show’s official Twitter account began tweeting out the lyrics to Leonard Cohen’s song “Democracy”, out of oder and with certain letters replaced by numbers. Clever “Mr. Robot” fans on Reddit decoded the secret message, and unlocked the teaser.

The teaser features ominous shots of from the upcoming season, with the voice of new cast addition Bobby Cannavale reciting the lyrics to “Democracy”, and includes some peaks at what hacker Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) and his alter-ego Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) might be up to after Season Two cliff-hanger.

“Mr. Robot” airs on Showcase in Canada.
