One day after Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters delivered an epic three-and-a-half-hour show at Chicago’s Metro club, Montreal’s Arcade Fire took to the same stage for a Saturday night show.

Among the songs in Arcade Fire’s Metro set was “Mind Games”, the title track from John Lennon’s 1973 album.

This was no run-of-the-mill cover, however; partway through the song, the band segued into Radiohead’s “Karma Police”, which then morphed into David Bowie’s “Oh! You Pretty Things” before returning to “Mind Games” and then transitioning to the band’s “Wake Up”.

Another highlight from the show was the band’s live debut of “Good God Damn” from their latest album, “Everything Now”. Watch:
