The Hoff Guards The Galaxy in Disco-Inspired Music Video

If you woke up this morning thinking, “Gee, it’s been far too long since I’ve seen David Hasselhoff in a music video,” well, a) you may be a little weird, and b) today is your day!

That’s because The Hoff is lending his silky vocal stylings as well as his subtle yet sweet dance moves to a song to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”

In the video for the song, “Inferno”, which can probably best be described as a sparkly late ’70s-inspired disco fever dream, a jumpsuit-clad Hoff is joined by cameos from “Guardians” cast like Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker and Dave Bautista. Even Stan Lee makes an appearance.

The video, which might just rival Hasselhoff’s 2006 classic “Jump In My Car”, doesn’t seem as WTF-worthy when you recall the former “Knight Rider” star made a cameo in the “Guardians” sequel. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Aug. 8. Until then we’ll just have this sequins and star-studded video on repeat.
